86252DC Leeb Hardness Tester
New upgraded model of extremely short impact device DC
Spring loaded with a special loading stick
Dual-coil technology
Extraordinary accuracy:±6HL
86252DC is an advanced lipstick-sized metal hardness tester which incorporates the impact device and controller into one unit. It easily fits in a pocket or your palm. It used lastest dual-coil technology which makes the tester to have extraordinary accuracy: ±6 HL and good repeatability:6HL. It adopts orientation sensors that will compensate the measurement errors in different impact directions automatically to ensure the accurate data, with OLED display screen. Equipped with impact device DC, the Leeb hardness tester is suitable for very confined spaces such as holes, cylinders or for internal measurements on assembled machines. The battery can be charged simply from USB port, also it has a customer re-calibration function.
Application
86252DC Leeb hardness tester is suitable for testing the hardness of materials such as steel, cast steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, gray cast iron, ductile iron, cast aluminum alloy, copper-zinc alloy, copper-tin alloy, pure copper and forged steel. The instrument is suitable for very confined spaces such as holes, cylinders or for internal measurements on assembled machines.

Operation
oading: Take down the loading stick and push the impact body forward until it to be locked
Positioning: Press the probe firmly against the surface of the object to be measured and keep it still.
Measurement: Press the release button on the top of the probe to measure the hardness of the object.
Cautious:
When measuring, the distance between any two indentations should not be less than 3mm, and the distance between the center of the indentation and the edge of the object to be measured should not be less than 5mm.
After use, the impact body should be loosened.
The use of various lubricants is strictly prohibited in the impact device.

FAQ
-
What is the thinnest thickness a durometer can measure and what is the thinnest thickness after coupling?
Leeb hardness tester is only suitable for large and heavy workpieces, small and thin parts must be coupled to a solid support for testing; DC-type impact device is measured by the minimum mass of 5kg, the minimum thickness of 25mm, if the weight or thickness does not meet the requirements, must be coupled to a solid support for testing, coupled to the minimum thickness of the measured object is 3mm.
