User Manual

86122 infrared power meter is the same model of V-Kool energy tester, also called infrared energy receiver. This is an instrument with a wide receiving range. It is mainly used to measure the infrared blocking rate of materials. It is suitable for the display of thermal insulation effects of thermal insulation glass, solar film and other materials. It can also be used to measure the radiant energy power density of various light sources, that is, the radiant energy power per square meter with unit W/m².

FAQ

  1. 1. The difference between 86122 infared power meter and window film transmission meters

86122 infrared power meter can test the power (irradiation intensity) of infrared rays, as well as the infrared rejection rate of solar film, glass and other materials.

The infrared response band of 86122 is 1000-1700nm and the peak value is 1400nm. The infrared rejection rate calculated by the 86122 infrared power meter is the infrared rejection rate in this response wavelength range; while the window film transmission meter (1400nm) tests the infrared rejection rate at 1400nm, so the test data of the two instruments are different. The size is related to the sensitivity of the solar film's transmittance to wavelength changes.
